    THAIKHUN MANCHESTER | RESTAURANT REVIEW

I love Thai food and when I say love I mean I could eat it every day and not get bored. We’re so lucky that there’s so many Thai restaurants in Manchester but one I hadn’t heard of before is Thaikhun. On Sunday the hubby, Archie & I had an afternoon at the Museum of Science […] Read more…

  • We really don't want to move. Our mortgage is over half way paid, we will be mortgage free before we turn 45. If we were to move then we would have to get a much bigger mortgage but not get much more space. All the three bedroom houses we've looked at within budget aren't actually any bigger, just have have smaller rooms and therefore a third bedroom. It just doesn't make sense to double our mortgage for no extra gain so instead of moving we're going up and creating an extra bedroom in the loft.

    CREATING AN EXTRA BEDROOM

We don’t have a huge house but we love it. It’s a Victorian terrace so has gorgeous high ceilings, big rooms and big widows letting in so much light. We love living here, we love where it is BUT we only have two bedrooms and we need three. We really don’t want to move. Our […] Read more…

This week is a short week as we’re going to Kendal Calling on Friday morning. I love a festival so can’t wait to go back. This week’s meal plan will revolve around using up as much of the food in the fridge as we can as we’ll be away for four days. I’ll still be […] Read more…

  • I try not to think about the milestones. Trying to figure out if your child is hitting their milestones can drive you crazy, especially when everyone else's children seem to be doing so much before you child. The milestones that I'm finding harder to deal with are the small thing you take for granted. The small things I took for granted with my first child.
